Remember my cowgirl themed invitations I blogged about before?
I made a few more things for the party. First, personalized tags for the cowboy hats that the kids will receive at the party.
Next, a garland for the birthday girl!
What do you think? Here is how I made this garland.
I started with an 4-1/4" by 11" piece of paper and scored it at every 1/2" on the long side and in half at 2-1/8" on the short side.
The other side looks like this:
Then, you accordion fold the paper so it looks like a fan you used to make in elementary school.
Fold it in half along the score line
Place adhesive to both ends to make the circle, and use some glue dots to close the circle.
I used a larger glue dot to attach the circle in the center.
Then, I attached the circle to the center to the front and back.
Then, I die cut some letters and used more glue dots to attach them. Then, I strung it on some twine.
Also, there will be party bags and games. The games will be Pop the Drop the snake in the boot (dropping plastic snakes into a boot) and Pop the Pigs (kids have to sit on pink balloons with curly tails and pig faces drawn on them in a relay fashion).
Thank you for checking in!
