Great Craft Faire!

Hello,
I had a great craft faire on Saturday in Suisun City at the Joseph Nelson Community Center. Here was my set up.
Here are some Home Decor frames I created.

These are gift card holder tins.  There are Happy Birthday, Teacher Appreciation, Coffee, Baby versions, and one "You're so kind" tin.
These are Slimline Pop out Albums I made for either making a small photo album for a special event, groups to sign a card for someone, or just a fun card pop out card to celebrate an event.

Here are some Halloween candy boxes with either Ghiradelli chocolates or an an assortment of Hershey's chocolates.

Here are close up pictures, including candy shown.

More group cards!! Gift box cards with bows!!

Here is another version of the group cards, this time a gift card box, but this time with a bow!! Click on my older post to see how I made them before.

Here is one close up:
You use three 12X12 sheets of paper.  You score the first one on all 4 sides at 4" and cut out the corners you create.  The second sheet you cut to a 11-1/2" square and also score it on all 4 sides at 4" and cut out the corners you create.  You then fold at the score lines and only adhere the bottoms together.
Inside, I made a mini envelope with the corners you cut out using the envelope punch board.  The square is 4" so you score and punch at 2" all around the square.

Then, I inserted a special mini Birthday card inside the mini envelope.
The mini card had a stamp of a birthday cake on the outside and this is the inside of the card:
It is resting on pop up created by weaving two strips of  paper together.
This is how I weaved the spring, I used the leftover 1/2" strips when I made the inside part of the card.

For the lid, start with a 6" square and score all around at 7/8"
Cut one part of the little square you created on each corner.
Use this as a tab, to form the id, and adhere the tab to the inside of the lid.
Then use the Gift Bow Bigz Die to make the bow on top of the lid.

Last time I made them this is what they looked like:

This year's group birthday cards!!

Every year I am in charge of making birthday cards for my group.  Each year I try to make the a little different, but the goal is to make it so all 24 people in my department can sign it.  Usually when someone gets a birthday card from the store, you get about an square inch to sign.  I make sure people have plenty of room to sign.  Here are some older posts that I shared some other group cards.

I've made these before, but this time I made them with 12X12 paper. Here's my post when I made them before.

I cut the 12X12 in half and scored it at 4-1/2" and at 5", then at 10-1/2"
Then you fold up at the 10-1/2" line and staple it down.
For the inside, I took an 8-1/2" X 11" scored it at 4-1/4" and at 8-1/2", then cut it in half lengthwise.

You will get 2 sheets, but you need 3 sheets, so repeat with another sheet of cardstock.

Fold them in a zig zag fashion.
Adhere 2 of them together using the shortest flap together.
For the third sheet you want to cut off 1-1/2" off and score the strip at 3/4" in the middle.
You use this to attach the third sheet to the other two.
Fold up the inside sheets and use the third sheet with the inch flap leftover and adhere it to the inside of the card.

Then fold over the cover at the 4-1/2" and 5" marks.  You can tuck in the inside and then tuck in the cover so that it starts to look like a matchbook
Here it is all done and labelled for the birthday recipient.
Here is the stack of all 24 of the cards, ready to deliver and ready for the whole year!
Thank you for checking in!

This year's group cards for my department!

Hello,
Every year I am in charge of creating birthday cards for all 22 people in my department.  I like to create ones that allow everyone to sign in the card.
Usually, with a Hallmark card you buy from the store, you only get about an square inch area to sign a card that goes around the group.
I've posted about group cards on my blog before in a number of previous posts that I tagged "group cards."  Make sure you scroll through all the pages, there are multiple ones.  I've been making group cards for my department for over 10+ years.
Let me know which one is your favorite group card!!
I repeated the creations with the envelopes I shared in this previous post.  I had a lot of fun creating them. Here are all 22 of them all done.
This is what one looks opened up.
This is the card when it is tied closed with the attached ribbon.
Here is the back side where people will be able to sign their well wishes.
Because everyone's names have different number of letters, I decided to make everyone's 8 envelopes long.  That was determined by the longest name I had. A nice even number will allow you to fold the envelopes so you have one design on the front and the opposite on the back.
Here is how I made the name cards:
I adhered the envelopes together by licking the flap of one envelope to another envelope, to make a strip like this.  Then, fold it in an accordion style.
The envelopes are 5-1/8" by 3-5/8", so I cut the 12" X 12" double sided paper into sections measuring 5" by 3-1/2" You can get 6 sections from each sheet of paper with some extras strips.
Then, you adhere the sections you cut out on each envelope, alternating the designs.
First, you determine what design you want to start with and add 9" of ribbon under the first and last section. First, adhere the ribbon,
Then cover it with the paper.
Flip it over and repeat on the back side, first the ribbon, then the other side of the paper.
That way you will get 2 pieces of ribbon to tie together with a nice bow or knot to close the card.
Here is what 22 different cards look like.
Here are all of them opened up.  Each one with a different paper design.

Let me know if you want me to make one for you!
