Front Pocket Card

Hello,

I love this new Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP) and wanted to try this new Front Pocket card. It holds a small card with a sweet sentiment. Scroll down to the bottom for a full video tutorial.

Start with a card base measuring 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Then, mark 2-3/4" on the bottom and score from the ends to the mark. It should look like this:

Then, you take TWO pieces of DSP measuring 2-1/2" X 4"

And you cut them diagonally in opposite directions.
Then, you use these triangles.
Next, adhere them to the back of the front of the card, so it looks like that.
Flip the card over and adhere it so the fold forms a pocket.
Use a piece of Basic White measuring 2-3/8" X 2-3/8" adhere a piece of Shaded Spruce measuring 1/2" X 2-3/8" and stamp your sentiment from the Cottage Rose Stamp set.

Luv2Stamp Group Blog Hop-May 2022-Father's Day

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group's 2022 Blog Hop!  We are excited to share projects with you this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects.  Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month's celebrations using Stampin' Up! products.

Here is my project, it's a Double Tower Bridge card inspired by Leena Gira, and yes, it fits in a regular A2 envelope. 

Start with an Early Espresso card base measuring 4-1/4 X 10-1/4" score at 1/2", 1-1/4", 2", 2-3/4" and repeat on the other side.
Glue down the first tab on both sides to form the two towers.  It should look like this:
For the strips on the towers cut coordinating cardstock. Here I had Early Espresso and Soft Succulent.  In the video tutorial, I used Cajun Craze and Early Espresso cardstock.
To make the bridge, you need a piece of DSP and two more coordinating cardstock, measurements on the picture below.
For the center of the card, use a piece of DSP measuring 3" X 4" and coordinating cardstock measuring 3-1/8" X 4-1/8".
For the back, cut a piece of Basic White measuring 4" X 4-1/4".

Crossed Frames card

Hello,
I'm trying to use more Stampin' Up! items before they retire at the end of June from the January to June mini catalog.  Here is a Crossed Frames card using the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and Stitched Shapes dies.  I will miss the paper, they are such works of art, and the dies have all three:  Circles, Ovals, and Squares!!
Enjoy!  Below are the supplies and measurements to make this card.
  

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets – Art Gallery Stamp Set (154421)

·         Card Stock – Sahara Sand Cardstock (121043); Old Olive Card Stock (100702); Mossy Meadow Card Stock (133676); Night of Navy Card Stock (100867)

·         Stamp Pads – Versamark Ink (102283)

·         Misc. – Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) (154558); Stitched Shapes Dies (152323); White Stampin; Emboss Powder (109132); Heat Tool (129053); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108)

           

Measurements:  

·         Card Base 1: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”

·         Old Olive Card Stock: approximately 2-3/4” square

·         Mossy Meadow Card Stock:  approximately 2-3/4” square                 DSP:  2-1/2” square           

·         Night of Navy Card Stock 1” X 4-1/4”

           

Instructions:

1.    Score the Card Base at 4-1/4” and fold along score line

2.    Cut out a frame from the largest and second largest square together from both the Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstock to make 2 frames

3.    Glue the DSP square to the back of the Old Olive frame and tuck opposite corners under the Mossy Meadow cardstock

4.    Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the crossed frames onto the card

5.    Stamp sentiment with Versamark ink on the Night of Navy cardstock strip

6.    Pour White Stampin’ Emboss Powder over the Versamark

7.    Use Heat Tool to melt the powder until it is shiny

8.    Adhere the Night of Navy strip to the card
