Okay, a non-crafty post today, let's talk FOOD. Here are my previous posts about food and more recipes I've tried. Here is my Pinterest board I named "Pinterest WINS!!" It is full of recipes that I have tried and loved and want to save and share with others.
Sometimes I want a simple snack. I go back to Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches. I never really had them until I went to college. This combination was just never something we thought of growing up. This is what my sandwiches look like. You may wonder why there are 3 pieces of bananas on the bread (which is toasted of course).
Did you know that a banana naturally is made up of three parts? I peel the entire banana, then break it in half and gently squeeze it, and this is how it naturally splits up. AMAZING!!!
I had a really good friend I met my first year of college who only ate his bananas this way. He would only eat it piece by piece. He didn't slice them, he didn't bit them with the peel. He would peel the entire banana, break it up to the 3 pieces and eat one piece at a time, holding the ends like you would a watermelon, eat the center and then eat each end.
I never forgot this and I always make my sandwiches this way because I like how the bananas lay on the toast.
What's your favorite snack?

More group cards!! Gift box cards with bows!!
Here is another version of the group cards, this time a gift card box, but this time with a bow!! Click on my older post to see how I made them before.
Here is one close up:
You use three 12X12 sheets of paper. You score the first one on all 4 sides at 4" and cut out the corners you create. The second sheet you cut to a 11-1/2" square and also score it on all 4 sides at 4" and cut out the corners you create. You then fold at the score lines and only adhere the bottoms together.
Inside, I made a mini envelope with the corners you cut out using the envelope punch board. The square is 4" so you score and punch at 2" all around the square.
Then, I inserted a special mini Birthday card inside the mini envelope.
The mini card had a stamp of a birthday cake on the outside and this is the inside of the card:
It is resting on pop up created by weaving two strips of paper together.
This is how I weaved the spring, I used the leftover 1/2" strips when I made the inside part of the card.
Last time I made them this is what they looked like:

For the lid, start with a 6" square and score all around at 7/8"
Cut one part of the little square you created on each corner.
Use this as a tab, to form the id, and adhere the tab to the inside of the lid.
Then use the Gift Bow Bigz Die to make the bow on top of the lid.
