Hello,
I was playing with the In Good Taste DSP and was inspired by a sample in the new Stampin' Up! catalog on page 124. I punched the paper with the Tailored Tag Punch.
I layered them on a piece of Petal Pink, leaving some space between the punched paper.I cut off the excess to leave a border around the edge and cut out scraps to complete the pattern.
Here's another one using the same DSP, but this time cutting them into strips to do the Scrappy Strip technique Kylie Bertucci's husband Bruno demonstrated on one of her videos.
I need to work on my cutting technique. You carefully layout the strips to "randomly" make a design.
I recommend using glue so that you can adjust the positioning of the strips before they are permanently stuck on the cardstock. This is the reverse side of the card. Use some scissors to cut off the excess hanging over the edge.
Here is the front of the card. And the finished products with sentiments from the Many Mates stamp set and Poppy Moments die.
