All girls card making party!!!

Happy Monday!

I was invited by a dear friend, Ana, to host a card making party for her daughter Malena and 6 of her closest friends yesterday. Here are the two cards we made together. I had all the materials prepared in kits for each girl so all they had to do was assemble, stamp and glue together.

First is a lovely standing card with one of my FAVORITE single stamps, Dasher. I embossed some Real Red card stock with the both Petals-a-Plenty and Perfect Polka Dots through my Big Shot for some accents. I love how the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders really give the card stock the texture. I also put a rhinestone to give it a little "bling" to the card. I gave the choice to the girls whether or not to use a red sharpie to color the rhinestone to make the reindeer into Rudolph. The girl's cards were REALLY "blinged" up. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of them!

Next up is the gingerbread people. They are made with the latest craze called Punch Art. So, basically you take a few punches and make something out of it. Some people are REALLY creative and have made Disney characters too! I've done these guys and polar bears before. The girls got really creative and were giving the people purses, earrings, ties and suits, etc. It was great to see all their creativity!

As a "Thank you" to the girls for participating, I made some treat bags with the "It's a Wrap" stamp set and bagged them and topped them with the Top Note Die. I put each girls's name on the top.

Thanks Ana for such a great activity to start off the holiday season!

Thanks for checking in!

Sharon
