My friend Dawn asked for help for a slumber party for her daughter's 11th birthday. It was Paris themed, inspired by this stamp.
First, I made cupcake decorations with the stamp, an oval punch, and short skewers.
This is how I packaged them up.
I also thought of the necklace kit I got the last time I was at Scrapbook Expo and I used at my nieces' party a few years ago. It's a simple craft for young kids. Coincidence? I love it!!
Here was the set up for decorating journals that Dawn bought for the girls to decorate. I brought my inks, markers, letter stamps, Project Life paper kits and accessories. Many of these items are now retiring and are on sale, some of them half price, while supplies last! Click here or on the links at the bottom of this post.I also cut out letters to personalize the bookmarks with the girls' names. They used inks, washi tape, and markers to decorate them. They enjoyed sponging the bookmarks and making them their own.
Dawn also wanted a spinner to play Spinning Manicures! I just found a magnetic spinner at the Dollar Store and found a magnetic white board to place it on. PERFECT!! Another coincidence? I think not!!
You realize this is perpetuating my need to continue to collect and buy things "just in case."
Ask me about any of this or visit my Children's Parties page on how I got the experience of planning themed parties.
Which one is your favorite game or activity?
Thank you for checking in!
