Double Layer Card


  

Hello,
I have been playing with the Ornate Style stamp set and the Blends.
I think this technique is called the Double Layer Card. You start with Whisper White in two sizes:  4" X 5-1/4" and 2-3/8" X 4"
You temporarily adhere by just putting a small amount of glue, just a bit before stamping an image. Then, I used Memento ink and the Stamparatus because I was making multiple cards. I love being able to reink the stamp in case I missed a part of the image, and knowing the image will stamp perfectly the same.
Then you layer it on two pieces of Calypso Coral:  4-1/4" X 5-1/2" and 2-5/8" X 5-1/4"
Then you color the image with Stampin' Up! Blends. I used Mango Melody, Old Olive. Calypso Coral, and Flirty Flamingo.
