Gold Embossing and Golden Garden Designer Acetate card and tutorial

Hello,

I am revisiting my very first crafting obsession. It was gold embossing, I loved the look of the shiny gold as the powder melted.  Back then, I was using a toaster before I got a Stampin' heat tool.

Watch the video to hear more on how I did it, and see how Versamark in works as a watermark ink too.  And below the video a picture tutorial of how to make the card and how the Versamark ink looks after it dries.

Here is the feather I stamped with Versamark, see how subtle it is once the ink dries?  It's a lovely look, I like to use it for a background.

Before I adhered the Golden Garden Acetate on top of a sheet of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper,

I flipped it over to the silver side first (I did a few with the silver side and used the silver embossing too),

And peeled off the protective layer of plastic film first.

Then, I adhered the acetate to the DSP and cut the paper into 4" X 4" squares.  Then, I could cut them at a diagonal and adhered them to card leaving space for the "So Grateful" stamp.
I'll have to try the reverse silver side with silver embossing powder next.

Thank you for checking in!
Looking forward to sharing more with you next time.
