Luv2Stamp Group Blog Hop-March 2021

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group's 2021 Blog Hop!  We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects.  Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month's celebrations using Stampin' Up! products.

Once you are done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Blog Hop participants, you can click on their name to go to their post, or you can click the next blog button to go to the next post in line.  Happy crafting!

This month's theme is Earth Day.

Here's my card.  I have done this look with stamping a double layer in this previous post.  And I saw this technique on Pinterest on Seongsook's blog and decided to try it with DSP instead of stamping and using the Stitched Rectangle dies.

My favorite part of this technique is that it saves paper!  Very Earth Day friendly. Please scroll down to the bottom of the blog for a video tutorial.

You start with a piece of Pretty Peacock that measures 5-1/2" X 4"-1/4" and a piece of Forever Greenery DSP that measures 5-1/4" X 4".
Then, you use the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  You use the 3rd and 6th largest for the cardstock and 4th and 7th largest for the DSP.
If you don't have the Stitched Rectangle dies, cut the cardstock out at 2-7/8" x 3-3/4" and then 2-1/8" x 2-3/4."  Then, cut the DSP out at 2-7/8" x 3-3/4" and then 1-7/8" x 2-1/2."
Here's the video tutorial to make the card. Let me know what you think.

And yes, I fixed the card I made on the video and straightened the layers.
What other dies or DSP would you use for this Triple Layering technique?
