Hello,
Another card using soon to be retired items. I will miss the ice cream paper, punch and stamps. I had fun with this one and made an easel card that stands up.
Supplies:
·
Stamp Sets – Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set (154456)
·
Card Stock – Terracotta Tile Cardstock (150884);
Basic White Cardstock (159276)
·
Stamp Pads – Blackberry Bliss (147092)
·
Misc. – Ice Cream Corner
Designer Series Paper (DSP); (154167); Stampin’ Up! Dimensionals (104430); Ice
Cream Cone Builder Punch (154241)
Measurements:
·
Basic White (level 1): 4-1/4” x 11” (score at 2-3/4” and
5-1/2”)
·
Terracotta Tile (level 2): 4” x 5-1/4”
·
Ice Cream Corner DSP (level 3): 1”
x 4-1/4” (2 pieces)
· Basic White (level 4): 1-7/8” x 4-1/4”
Instructions:
1. After scoring the level 1,
fold cardstock in half first, then fold that in half again
2. Punch 3 ice cream scoops in
different colors from the DSP, and a cone from the DSP. Adhere the cone first at the bottom of the
level 4 Basic White, then use Dimensionals to raise the scoops, only using one
on the bottom for the two bottom scoops, and two Dimensionals for the top scoop.
Stamp the sentiment on the corner next to the cone.
3. Adhere the two strips of the DSP on the two sides of the Terracotta Tile cardstock
4. Adhere the Basic White with
the ice cream cone on top of the strips of DSP
5. Only place adhesive on the bottom part of the level 1 and place the Terracotta Tile piece leaving a slight border around the Terracotta Tile.
6. Using paper snips to cut out a single ice cream cone from the DSP, place a Dimensional on the back and place it in the middle of the inside of the card. This will hold the easel card on display.
To show how to make the easel card work, I googled "easel card instructions" and found this printout and cut one out and add to my card when I send it.
