Happy crafting! This month's theme is Christmas.
Here is my tower card, and here's the front. I'm proud of myself that I mixed up different stamps, and two different dies. I usually stick to bundles that coordinate and don't waver.
I used the Layering Hugs die and covered it with a die from the Tasteful Labels dies and stamped with the Banner Year stamp set.
Here's the back, it's perfect for another stamped or a hand written sentiment and helps keeps the card stable.
One of my friends, Karen, sent me a card and I IMMEDIATELY was inspired to CASE(C-Copy A-And S-Share E-Everything) it. Karen told me her penpal Diane sent it to her. I love that it stands, is one made from one piece of cardstock, and when folded up, it fits in a regular A2 envelope!!
I started making a lot of them. I got the process down to making 4 score lines, and making 4 cut lines.
Here are the measurements and directions.
Start with a piece of Merry Merlot cardstock measuring 5-1/2" X 8-1/2"
Along the long side, score at 1-1/8", 2-1/4" , 6-1/4", and 7-3/8"
Then, turn it to short side, and cut at 1" from the first score line to the last score line on the other end. Repeat at 2", 3-1/2" and 4-1/2"
It will look like this:
Then, you fold it so it each piece folds in opposite ways. First to the front then the second to the back, and so on and so on.
(2) 1" X 5-1/4" (outside)
(2) 3/4" X 3-3/4" (middle)
(1) 1" X 3-3/4" for the middle (optional)
- Basic White measuring 2-1/4" X 3" on top of
- Merry Merlot cardstock measuring 2-1/2" X 3-1/4" and top of
- Basic White measuring 2-3/4" X 3-1/2" for either a stamped or written sentiment.
