Slimline Fold Out card

 Hello,

The slimline cards are the hottest thing going nowadays, so I wanted to try to make a fold out card in the slimline size.  I copied the idea from another card that was made from a 12" X 12" piece of cardstock.

Here it is opened up.

This is the card closed.

Start with a piece of 8-1/2" X 11" piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock.

Along 11" side, score down at 2-3/4", 5-1/2" and 8-1/4"

Then, score only in the middle at 1-3/8" and at 9-3/8"

Then turn the cardstock 90 degrees and make two cuts:

(1) cut at 2-3/4" starting at 1-3/8" to 9-5/8" and

repeat (2) at 9-5/8" starting at 1-3/8" to 9-5/8"

Here are the DSP measurements:  You will need 4 pieces of 2-1/2" squares, 2 pieces 1-1/4" X 2-3/4" and 2 pieces 1-1/4" X 8-1/2"

And to finish the front and back covers, you will need two pieces of Old Olive measuring 3-5/8" X 8-1/2"

And then to decorate the front and back with two pieces of DSP measuring 3-3/8" X 8-1/4"

Here is the Slimline Fold Out card again opened up with some pieces of Basic White cut with the Stitched with Whimsy dies, then I cut the outside of them. I left them to write something of put a picture in the card. What do you think?

Here is the video tutorial showing you how to make the card:
