Thank you Embossing Folder with a Strip card

Hello,

Happy New Year!! Wishing you the very best 2022!!

It's time for Thank you cards, and I really like this quote because it makes me think about why it's so important to show your gratitude.

I'll be honest, I often feel gratitude and sometimes overthink about it and then I don't end up showing/expressing it.

I will do my best to show my gratitude whenever I feel it!!

I'm going to start with making these Thank you cards.  I saw this unique strip card and wanted to try it.  Here it is.

There are five layers:

  1.    Card Stock 1(Old Olive):           4-1/4” X 11”
  2.    Card Stock 2(Crushed Curry):   5 1/4” x 4”
  3.    Card Stock 3(Basic White):       5” X 7-1/2” scored at 3-3/4”
  4.    DSP Layer:                                 4-3/4” X 3-1/2” & 1” X 5-1/2”
  5.    Vellum:                                       4-1/4” X 3-1/4”
Instructions:

  1. Cut the Old Olive along the score line at 5-1/2” down to 2-3/4” and then across at 1-1/2” until you reach the score line
  2. Adhere the Crushed Curry to the full side of the Old Olive
  3. Fold Basic White in half and adhere to the Crushed Curry
  4. Adhere the bark DSP to the front of the Basic White card
  5. Emboss the vellum with the Thanks Embossing folder on top of the bark DSP
  6. Adhere another 1" X 5-1/2" piece of the DSP to the front strip

Here is the card opened and with plenty of room to write in.
