Two Diagonal Fold cards Tutorial

 Hello,

Today I wanted to use the beautiful Daffodil Afternoon Decorative Series Paper (DSP) (available in Jan. and Feb. 2022) to make some Diagonal Fold cards. I will show you how to make two cards from one whole sheet of Basic White cardstock, half a sheet of Pear Pizzaz, and 1/3 of a piece of DSP.

Start with a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 8-1/2" X 11" score it vertically at 4-1/4" and horizontally at 5-1/2".

Then, cut the cardstock diagonally to form two cards. The trimmer won't cut the entire line.

You will need to use your snips to cut the ends.

Then, you'll have two cards bases once you fold on the score lines like this.

Then cut the Daffodil Afternoon DSP seen below.  Cut at 5-1/4"  for the length and 4" for the width. This is what it looks like all cut up. Save the centers for the sentiment later on.

Take one of the pieces of DSP and cut a piece of Pear Pizzaz measuring 4-1/8" X 5-3/8"

Cut them both diagonally in the same direction as your card bases.

Layer the DSP on the Pear Pizzaz onto the card bases.

Stamp your sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels dies and do the same in Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
Cut the Flirty Flamingo piece in half.
Cut some Foam strips the length of the die.
Then, layer the Basic White die on top.
Then, adhere it the front of the card.
