Hello,
Here's another Fun Fold card made from one piece of cardstock as the card base. I also used the Beauty of the Earth DSP and the coordinating Beautiful Trees dies.
Scroll to the bottom to see a video tutorial.
Here is the card closed.
Here is the card opened, with room to stamp or write a sentiment.
Start with the card base measuring 5-1/2" X 11", score VERTICALLY at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-1/4", and 7"
Then, cut HORIZONTALLY at 1-1/4 (from the score lines) 1-3/4" to 5-1/4"
For the cardstock, cut a piece of Crushed Curry measuring 1-3/8" X 3" and one of Basic White measuring 3" X 3-3/4"
For the strips on the top and bottom, cut out two pieces of DSP measuring 1" X 11" and then cut them at 1-11/16" (the line right before 3/4") FOUR times and then the last cut at 3-7/8"
To make the tree, cut the "leaves" out of DSP, the trunk out of Soft Suede and the top outline out of Crushed Curry.
Then, glue them together on top of each other like this.
Here's the video tutorial to show you how I made it.
