Luv2Stamp Group Blog Hop-November 2022-Christmas

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group's 2022 Blog Hop!  We are excited to share projects with you this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects.  Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month's celebrations using Stampin' Up! products.
Once you are done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Blog Hop participants, you can click on their name to go to their post, or you can click the next button to go to the next post in line.
Happy crafting!  This month's theme is Christmas.
Yes, I jumped on the Gnome bandwagon and made him DANCE!!
I was inspired by Melissa Faust when she made the witch's legs dance. And then a ton of other demonstrators made them with the gnomes too! Great minds THINK ALIKE!
Scroll to the bottom to view my video tutorial.
Start with a card base measuring 4-1/4" X 11" scored at 5-1/2" and a piece of DSP measuring 4" X 5-1/4" and a mechanism measuring 1" X 1-1/2" with a hole cut out from the top using the Gnome nose die. You can use any hole punch as long as it is bigger than a dimensional.  Experiment with other punches to get the same effect.
Assemble the Gnome using the hat, beard, and nose dies.  Then, you put 2 Stampin' Dimensionals stacked on top of each other on the beard and the hat.
Then you hang the mechanism onto the stack of Stampin' Dimensionals on the beard. Test it out by swinging the mechanism.
Then adhere the Gnome to the front of the card.
Here are some other versions I made using more of the Celebrate Everything Decorative Series Paper (DSP). Click the picture to watch them in action.

  3. Love those gnomes! Sadly, I did not purchase those stamps and dies. Those swinging feet are genius.
