Pinwheel and Double Triangle Fold card including video and tutorial

Hello,

I love the look of this pinwheel and being able to use scraps of DSP to make it. I used the Hand Penned DSP in the picture tutorial and the video tutorial below.

Scroll to the bottom for the full video tutorial to see how I made this Pinwheel and Double Triangle Fold card. I was inspired by Cindy Brown.

Here is a short video to show you the cards using the Design a Daydream DSP in action:  https://youtu.be/8Tc3uhnx40k

To make the Double Triangle Fold card, start with a piece of cardstock measuring 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4".

Then mark 2 " from the score line above and below on both sides. And also 2" from the left and right sides along the score line.  Then, draw a line from the both top and bottom to the mark on the center score.  Score with a bone folder and a ruler.

Then you need 2 pieces of DSP measuring 4" X 5-1/4" and mark 1-7/8"on the left and right side, and then mark 2 inches from the top from the left and right.

You'll end up with a trapezoid shape to use to decorate the inside of the card on the top and bottom. You trim the triangles you made by cutting off 1/4" the ends and flip them over to show the other side of the DSP.  It will look like this:

To make the pinwheel, you need two 2-3/8" squares of cardstock and eight 1-1/4" squares of DSP.
