50 invites for Jeff's 50th!

What happens when you put my sister Carol and me together to make some invites?
AWESOMENESS!!! Her friend wanted a cowboy themed invite for her husband's 50th and TA-DAH...this is what we made.

Here is the inside with the details of the event. I love www.1001freefonts.com! you can buy all 10,000 fonts for $19.95, but why bother? When you can download each one you need for FREE!!! There are TONS of styles and they are all categorized. I just chose Western and picked my favorite. I also love the handwriting ones for when I scrapbook.

Want to know what 50 invites look like? Here you go! So much fun to make and had a blast hanging out with my sister!

If you ever need a card, invite or announcement, click on this link to give me details on what you want.
More samples are at http://sharonscardsandmore.blogspot.com/

Latest card class!

Hello!
I love to end the week with some stamping. I hold a mini class on a Friday afternoon at work and my co-workers LOVE to come and create without having to travel very far.

Here are the cards we created.
The first one is my favorite style called center step. I also used the oval Designer Frames and used the extra large Oval punch to make it into a true frame to showcase the stamped image.
Here's a side view of the card.
Then, I combined the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent cards with the Blossom Builders, double sided die cut flowers that come with pink rhinestones. I earned this card set for free during Sale-A-Bration (ends Mar. 31) that comes with cards that are die cut on their edges. Aren't they just elegant?
The last card used the stamp set Outlined Occasions Stamp set, another stamp set I also earned for free.
I stamped the word on the card, chose the same color markers to match and used them like a color palette to "paint" on the card with a Blender pen. Just rub the marker on a piece of plastic and WELLAH!..a palette of color.
Then, I touch my blender pen into the color and use it to "paint" the letters. Cool, right?

Here is a card I made for my cousin's baby shower. I used the Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die on the outside, I LOVE hoe delicate it looks and it was so easy to run it through my Big Shot.
On the inside, I stamped some baby images, cut them out and put them on Stampin' Up! Dimensionals (foam tape) and left enough room to write something inside.
Thanks for checking in! I hope you enjoyed seeing my creations. I love sharing them with you.

Let me know if you would like to order anything before Sale-A-Bration ends on Mar. 31. You can earn FREE products with every $50 you spend. Email me with any questions you may have or if you need a catalog.

My newest craze!!!

So have you heard about Pinterest? http://www.pinterest.com/

I am OFFICIALLY addicted.
It's a virtual pinboard — a place where you can create collections of things you love and "follow" collections created by people with great taste.People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things -- wedding inspiration, favorite T-shirts, DJ equipment. You name it, people are pinning it.

These are some of the things I made from ideas I found on Pinterest. A sweet frame with a page I made with My Digital Studio (a digital program from Stampin' Up!). You include it with a dry erase marker and you can change what you write as often as you would like. I made them for a my friend Jenn.

I also saw these heart garlands and made them for a decoration. So EASY...just strips of paper and a stapler. So inspired by all the creative minds that are pinned on Pinterest.

My "Craft" board is certainly the largest one I have so far.

If you want an invite, comment with your email address and I'll invite you then you can follow me on Pinterest and see what I see!

More group cards!!!

When you have a group of 23 people who all want to sign the bday cards, you get creative on how to make them large enough for everyone to sign. Here are just some of the group cards I make for my group.
First is a folded album that I made from a 12X12 paper, scored it to 4 6X6 squares and cut one line to the middle. It folds up neatly into a 6X6 square. I used double sided paper and cut them with a variety of tools for space to sign. What do you think?

For this one, I used the Cricut to cut out the letters and made an accordian card that hung up for all to see.

Here is one that I made from a 12X12 paper. I scored it into 4" squares and cut out the outer squares. Then layered another paper scored the same way that was 11.5" X11.5" LOVE that double sided paper, and how the lid just makes the card "explode!"

Next is a unique square folded album that is tied up with ribbon.

Great Scrapbooking Day!

We had a GREAT Scrapbooking day on Saturday. Lots of organizing, cutting and creating happening.

I'm currently not working on a photo album now (I do have lots that I plan on working on), but was working on creating all the birthday cards for my group. Funny how I am responsible for them =). The greatest dilemma I have is to create something that everyone can sign. You know how it goes, you get a card and everyone squishes their sentiment and signs all over. So here is this year's model. It's a matchbook style that holds an accordian folded paper so everyone has PLENTY of room to sign and add a nice note. This is how it looks closed.

This is from the side, opened a little, and then, all the way open.

Here are all of them done for 2012!

This is the folder that travels with the specific month's cards to make sure everyone signs and it gets back in time for the birthday. I can't remember where I got it from, but here is the pdf of it.

Bday calendar Thanks for checking in! I'll take some more pictures of the other group cards I've made for my group and post again soon!
